How to Avoid Being Swallowed by the Banal.

Take a little pinch of the improbable,
a sprinkle of self belief,
and a dash of love-of-self.

Add to what you see,
as though seeing for the first time.
Do not measure.
Do not weigh.
Do not judge.

Try not to be frightened.

The cloak of familiarity
and learned response,
is the cloak of blindness.

You must learn
to see again.
